I have a room with "wall paper" on the walls, and I want to transition the walls from one paper to another over the course of 30 frames. I know I can create a mix texture and animate the "amount" slider to create a smooth dissolve. However, is there a way I can transition with shapes (like squares, circles, or a basic left-to-right wipe)? Here is a sample of what I'm hoping to be able to do: https://youtu.be/UWXl8dBn4uU?t=18s

Hi frankjrmi,
the solution proposed by DinoMuhic is surely the best and flexible, an alternative could be to animate a c4d shader like gradient, spline, noise ecc. with he help of the auto baking shader function, but you could have some performance issues

I know two ways.frankjrmi wrote:Can anyone tell me if it is possible to animate between 3 different textures?
1-Use two mix texture + three images.
or
2-Use two images+mix texture. Give key frames to image names when transition completed.

Thanks aoktar. I figured it out yesterday and got it to work perfectly.aoktar wrote:I know two ways.frankjrmi wrote:Can anyone tell me if it is possible to animate between 3 different textures?

Wouldn't it also be possible to use object buffers for the walls, and do the compositing in after effects?
