Possible bug in Rounded edges?

1. Load octane standalone
2. Add a materials > glossy node
3. click the node to start the material ball render
4. Set rounded edge radius to 0.01 or 0.001

RESULT: It creates strange artifacts all over the ball.

Edge rounding problems are a general issue with Octane, which hopefully Otoy will get an opportunity to address in the future.

For simple objects i usually bake Modos rounded edge to a normal map. This map works usually nice in Octane. Is there a more efficient way to bring Modos Rounded Edge into Octane? Maybe through the Render Cache API?
