is there any chance this could also work in octane for Rhino?

Thanks linvanchene I will look into this.

I'm calculating the horizontal as well as the vertical FOV with Phantom Photo Match so it will work regardless of what an application uses. :)

V-cube, it just might, is there any way of entering camera data in Rhino?

well you can move the camera position and the camera target position to specific locations, you can specify the width and height off the viewport and you can enter a length lens for standard 35 mm camera which results in an according FOV

here is the dialogue :

Excellent, camera position & target are supplied already, and I'm calculating the camera roll internally... which means I can make this variable up for grabbing aswell. The camera lens length is something I will have the figure out. If I can get that, you're all set.

I've been waiting for this since 2011, what is going on around this technology?

Now that has some cool (and insanely complex) features. I will be looking into those. :o

Now Phantom Scatter has been updated properly, I have continued on Phantom Photo Match.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the BETA. :)
Since release is closing in, the BETA licenses are now closed.

I've sent an e-mail to participants, requesting feedback. Anything helps!

Additionally, the website is now live: http://photomatch.phantomtechnology.nl/

I think I got the variables correctly calculated for Rhino now ;)

Notice the function RENDERER under MAIN, you can pick your program of choice there and the export section of the GUI will adapt to it.

Apparently the nodes inside Octane Render standalone are nothing but XML data. That means it will be possible to have an export function that puts a bunch of stuff onto your clipboard. You can then use CTRL+V inside Octane Render standalone to create a camera node with the correct data right away.

Thanks face_off :D
