Hi,

example: I have a good setup for "direct lighting" and quick jump to "path tracing" to see, how this would work. OK, to slow, I jump back to "direct lighting", but now some options like glossy/specular depth are reset to default. Please make that current setups are full keeped.

Ciao,
Micha

Once you change kernels - the value of any pins that were in the old kernel but not in the new kernel are lost, and will be reset to their default values where you change back to the original kernel.

Right, and if Octane will try to be userfriendly, than it will keep the options, since users like to test different setups. Reset to default isn't a good way.
