Hello.

PMC kernel default settings except:
-256k-samples
-26-diffuse and 96-specular max depth
-10k-reject
-caustic blur 0.00
-parallelism 1

Materials:
-prism with dispersion 0.036 and ior 1.407
-torus knot ior 1.45 but without dispersion - sorry, I forget to enable dispersion :(
-2 mirrors (big circular tape and 1/4 of ball with the light is inside)

---> I like my image!! :D And you? ;)

NOTES - sorry:
-for have OR 2.06 demo;
-for noises but the "max. sample" are only up to 256k-sample - I cannot increase samples. :( But newer version of OR will add unlimited (= 0) for "max. samples".

Regards. ;)

Octane is not good for this kind of scenes.
There are better alternatives if tricky caustics is what you're after.

Yes, seems good OR. But 256k-sample is bad - you need add much more than this max samples in newer version of OR.

I use ORVR 2.23-2 (but 3-month trial) and am rendering with many pauses during 1 or 2 week(s) but 2500x2500 because higher resolution screen = better caustics despite same number of sample/px. :)
