Displacement mapping supports only UV projection. Bump mapping supports all projections. Could you send us / post the scene with the incorrect projection of the bump map? Thanks.

Marcus,

I had the same issue with one of my scenes - material was glossy, with box mapping and world space and bump was not working.

In principle yes, but the maximum amount of geometry memory you can use is currently limited to ~19 million triangles, which will use about 3GB of memory and a 5GB OBJ file will use a lot less memory than 5GB on the GPU.
When this bug (19 million limitation) will be fixed? I cant finish my current project :-(

I'm have a problem, or more of a minor irritation that is. :) When you change a node type or load a different texture into a node the node collapses in the inspector. It would be nice if the nodes stayed open or close as they were.

I need to comp rain on top of a real footage and for that I use layers, but mask layer renders without motion blur and there is no good rain without motion blur.

Boris, I have done rain comps a bunch of times. Doing it as straight spec & reflections over flat black (or invisible to camera, with blk bg) copy of scene and rendering with no alpha in LW (with moblur and instance splashes etc) and then comping in AE as Add or Screen (or a combo of both) has proven to be realistic enough for my needs...

tried again with a very small scene and two GPUs would go fail. Driver is the newest Nvidia driver. Usually, I had no issues.
