Oh my goodness, I need this. This is so awesome!

I've got a model of a beer can with hundreds of ICE water droplets on it. I would love bringing that into Octane.

That's great Face. Can't wait to try the particles.

What else do you have planned? Your plugin has revived my interest in Octane so much, I'm thinking about selling my Arion license.

Hm, good question...
A little bit particle fun.
Concrete, to bake the particle colors in a texture and uv the particles, so that every particle can have a other color.
But this is only practicable, when Octane the texures not smoothed or we have a option to disable that.

I have discovered, that large particles clouds are realy slow to export.
50.000 particles takes about 1 minute with a quad polygon on my C2Q 6600.
I don´t know if i can make this process multithreaded. I think no...

Then a batch render maybe, inside Softimage.
Outside don´t work while Softimage crashed when i open a scene with the plugin ala commandline.
Maybe with every plugin, haven´t tested it with others...

I'm running Softimage 2011 64-bit with Octane beta 2.2....just bought that yesterday as a matter of fact. Awesome tool!

The xsi addon installs just fine of course, but when I point it to the Octane exe, it fails and tells me to use Octane 2.2. I've double-checked, and yes, I am running Octane 2.2. So I'm not sure how to proceed.
