Octane Render is to render 3D scene to be photorealistic (it needs 2000 or higher samples per pixel (s/px) at PMC kernel) per image. ;)

PT vs PHT kernels - spp nrs
Caustics at PT
TRUE spec materials w/ dispersion

well that's a false claim (You don't need 2000 s/px), so don't make mess in the forums with false claims - lack of experience with engine doesn't make engine itself being faulty ( don't believe, check my signature for a free scene & study it =)

& it even wasn't the question..

yes there is - Octane Render outputs image sequence if You have predefined animation or want to make turntable, sun animation? With two later options & if You don't have a set animation already You can try to check Lua scripts to help You out =) they output You sequence =) after that You simply need some software to convert it into video.

2000 s/px is good enough, if we appear the caustics blurry (from lamp(s) light has(have) medium or large size but not our sun).
That's the EXAMPLE.

I don't make mistaked... :)
