Hi all,
i'm working some fixes with new sdk(2.05). I'm thinking to release when i feel it's ready to publish. Targetted some reports which has been done in this thread.
Some of these are; freezeing problems on materials which has C4D shaders. Some minor workflow tweaks for better handling the scenes and more....

And 2.05.2 has different exposure behaviour over older versions. Details are in thread:

I've a curious bug since the last version 2.04.1: settings aren't kept after each restart of C4D but seems to be ok. By sample my account is ok and activated but nothing appears in the tab. It's the first time i've this kind of bug since a very long time (probably before V1).

My version of Cinema 4D is 14.042.

Any idea to restore and keep my settings?

Hi Aoktar,

Another subject about the localDB in the standalone and the DB access of the plugin. I've tried to define the LocalDB of the standalone to the same folder as the USER folder of the DB access of the plugin (something like ...\AppData\Roaming\MAXON\CINEMA 4D R14_xxxxxxx\prefs\liveDB\USER). Globaly it works fine and i'm able to open materials created inside C4D in the standalone and open materials created inside the standalone in C4D.

I think it could be a very interesting workflow but i've two little problems in the standalone: every materials from C4D comes with the name "root" in the standalone and the standalone says there is no previewable node in the package. Do you think there is some solution(s) for these problems

I get the same thing. Also my list of GPU's are all unchecked, yet everything works normally.

If you click the settings button, the proper settings window will pop up. It doesn't refresh when you switch projects anymore.

gpus are unchecked when stop the render. But you should see checked when open settings window. This is result of less power consumption

Well, that's not what I'm seeing. It seems to be working fine with nothing checked.

I confirm the bug too. Octane doesn't keep the kernel setting of a scene when you reopen it or change your c4d layout

ok, problems is caused by saved window. You should see correct selection, when you close/open.

I have found just hitting the settings button will update the settings to make them correct. Unless i'm misunderstanding the issue
