Clones Not showing And Rendering Samples

I am new to Cinema and so these may be covered or newbie questions. Apologies in advance.

I created a metaball animation in Cinema and some of the animation uses spheres put through a cloner operation do not show up in the octane render. The metaball object does but these cloned spheres do not. Is there something I can do inside Cinema to turn these into meshes that Octane Render will see?

I also notice when I render a sequence of an animation that the first frame that renders is the full 2500 samples that I assigned but any after that are 128 samples or 144 samples. It is not consistent... it just rattles through the rest of them at a much reduced sampled count.

are the Render Perfect is on Spheres? This option avoids to generate polygons on Picture Viewer. Also for clones you can use Render instances option for faster export operations.

For maxsamples issue, what was your version?

I'm not sure if Render Perfect is on the spheres... where is that set? (Newbie)

Where is the Render Instances Option looked in Ocyane Settings?

When I select the Cloner Object Tab render Instances I get:

Error reading resource
File'C\Program Files\MAXON\CINEMA 4D R14\resource\res\description\oinstances.res'

Then I have to force quit to get out of it

When I select Render Instances I get that error.

I am not sure if that button is a render instances OCTANE setting or a CINEMA one though???

yes, this is for render instances. But why this gives error? What happens without octane install?

When the plugin is absent I can click this box on this machine (and another PC and a Mac with the same version of Cinema and file etc) and it does not crash.

didn't see this error before. It's not crash, but a error. Which is your c4d version? Studio/Broadcast/etc.....
Could you give me the scene for checking?
