Recommendly should change kernel from DL to PMC because new GTX 690 is pretty fast and look the mirror and other speculars.
NOTE: I'm sorry for bad english due to mute ;)

I really didn´t find differences in this particular scene from diffuse to pt or even pmc. So I went for the diffuse kernel.

Sounds no or little differences because your GTX 690 got only FEW samples at PMC. But we get huge differences between DL and PMC because we appear well light shadows and/or caustics since minimum 5000-6000 or more samples at PMC.

DL (no almost photorealistic) with proprites modified:

PMC ((almost) photorealistic) with default proprites:

PT makes hardly caustics. But looks (very) good or excellent caustics at PMC.

I like to always use PMC running my GTX 480. :D

Can you understand well? ;)
