Keep getting this error message. See attached Cuda error.

Also having some serious performance probs. Render speed seems to be normal but very slow moving things around view port. Rotate, move etc. It feels like I dont have enough Ram but I have 32gb installed. Also running quadcore 3.4ghz with and 680mx 2GB.

Seems to be affecting other programs too.

Other issue is C4d keeps crashing when idle. See attached App error.

Anyone else having these issues?

Cheers

about the navigation performance, if you have only one gpu for display and rendering, you need to activate the priority option in the octane setting, in this way octane leaves some gpu power for viewport navigation ;)
i'll check about the idle crash, maybe it's also related to the priority, there is not enough gpu power for other applications

Hi thanks for replying bepeg4d

See attached settings screen grab.

These are the settings Ive been running - which are the default – Should I be doing something different?

Even typing this reply is laggy! wtf!

Cheers

yes, you should try to activate the "use pri" checkbox at the right of the gpu, in this way you activate the priority option for that particular gpu and you could choose different priority with the popup ;)

Using an iMac.

The priority has solved the performance problem. Thanks for that :-)

Still having the crash when idle. Seems like its just me though. Weird.
