better and better, it would be nice if in the future the background could stay inside the render target node and maybe works with spherical hdr so we could finally have sun + hdr in one render

Good news. Thank you for this release ! I will try this release later this afternoon.
I am working on an helicopter placed on a parking area. I took several photos on site, and I have currently to create one ocs per point of view (not allowing easily updates when changing something on one scene).
@bepeg4d : having the background image in the camera node would allow one background per camera, allowing to switch quickly between several points of view around an object without reloading a new background image each time.it would be nice if in the future the background could stay inside the render target node

this is exactly the point for having a background node inside the render target, so you could easily connect different cameras with the same background or having different beckgrounds nodes for testing with the same camera
