better and better, it would be nice if in the future the background could stay inside the render target node and maybe works with spherical hdr so we could finally have sun + hdr in one render ;)

Added control to make the bokeh in out of focus areas less smooth.
What is the bokeh ?

Good news. Thank you for this release ! I will try this release later this afternoon.
it would be nice if in the future the background could stay inside the render target node
@bepeg4d : having the background image in the camera node would allow one background per camera, allowing to switch quickly between several points of view around an object without reloading a new background image each time.

I am working on an helicopter placed on a parking area. I took several photos on site, and I have currently to create one ocs per point of view (not allowing easily updates when changing something on one scene).
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.

dear roubal,
this is exactly the point for having a background node inside the render target, so you could easily connect different cameras with the same background or having different beckgrounds nodes for testing with the same camera ;)
