How do i use that damn falloff? There is no manual with the 2.59 version. I wanted to improve some fabric/cloth materials in my latest interior scene using it, but i have no idea, where to put it - bump? opacity? specular?
Some explanation/tutorial would be handy.

EDIT: Ok, with diffuse material i put it into the "Diffuse" channel, now i see the effect. But its black, how do i use it combined with some texture/RGB spectrum color? As i connected it to exactly that same spot, where you usually add "image" texture?

EDIT 2: Oh, seems i got to use it with Mix material? Am i right?

Thanks for response, Matej. Already figured it out, although to know how to use it properly, i will have to do some more testing.

I bought a 4gb gtx670, on 2.58e failed, and the 2.59 does not see any GPU.

installed every driver from 301.42 to 306.23 all failed (installed only graphic driver and removing every time with sweeper)

WIN7/x64/i7/16RAM/EVGAGTX670 4GB/

hmmm...?

You need install and use either the latest release candidate beta 3.03 (http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=24074) or for the older Octane versions, one of the Kepler builds (like http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=20911), because your GPU is of compute model 3.0 which isn't supported by older Octane versions by default.

I recommend to use the beta 3.03.

Cheers,
Marcus
