How can I hide HDRI image from the render?

Restarting C4D seems to have solved the problem for now.

In C4D R21 reflection works fine, but diffuse material is not working at all. The color sliders are not affecting the color. In the attached images the floor is in black color but in render everything is white.

I recently downloaded the latest demo version to try it out. Everything seems to be working fine except reflection and specular shader. No matter how much I tweak spec and roughness there is no change happening. Any idea what I could else try?

Disabling firewall was one of the first things to do so this option is checked.

In the update it says the it can't connect to the server.

By curiosity I went back to version V14 to check if I can activate the plugin. This is the error messages I got.

Ok, that is a good sign (and normal)
It shows you definitely have access to our servers.

If the standalone and the browser is working it must be something specific inside C4D.
Can you please post a screenshot of the exact error message?

I just purchased Octane standalone and C4d plugin. Standalone is activated but the plugin gives me a error message "can't connect to the server". Any suggestions?

I have checked the servers logs for any requests with your C4D license key and haven't found any.
