Re: Surface Count

Hmm, I've never seen something like that, and I can't figure out why the plugin could have any kind of surface limits. Can you please enable the Octane log file to check if there is some kind of error message on it? Perhaps the problem is not the number of surfaces, but a surface that is breaking ...

Surface Count

I would like to know if this is a lightwave problem or an Octane problem.
When the count of surfaces loaded into the scene is 2761, the material is properly expressed when rendering.
However, in a scene where the count of surfaces is loaded up to 2900 or 3200, the material cannot be displayed when ...

I have a question about system memory usage.

I have a question about system memory usage.

8 * 1080ti are plugged in.

System memory is 144 GB.

When rendering in lightwave, it uses 100% of 1080Ti memory.
3GB is being used as out of memory.

In this situation, if network rendering is used, it takes up 11 GB of system memory per graphics card ...

Object Dissolve

I'm working on an animation using Object Dissolve.
In the octane render, I understood that I used the Enable State to hide the object.
I set On and Off using Enable state Graph Editor.
I set the Rendering Scene Update mode to "Update Scene" mode on the Octane render target and ran the render, but ...

Out of core geometry??

Otance 4

Out of core geometry

Can I use "out of core geometry" to cover system memory without a graphics card with lots of memory?
What is the performance degradation of using system memory?
Do not you have to use a graphics card like the Titan X to do big work in the future?

I want to be added to Octane render

Among the features I would like added to Octane render
Is it difficult to add functionality similar to the fprime rendering system?
Is it difficult to implement a system that renders to 5000 samples and continues after 5000 samples and continues to render additional?
If you can continue sampling and ...

Are you using data from a version earlier than 3.04.3?

Is not the data you created in the old version?
