Hi there
I'm using octane for 3ds max. When I specify the output size in the common tab, the render frame window for Octane doesn't change. I want to render 2400x1200 px but the largest it will go is the size of my screen.
The only time the settings in the common tab work is when I first open max ...

Re: black water ?
I know this doesn't answer your problem, but I'm not sure having the glasses there looks very natural. If you'd just washed up a glass, it would go on a draining board - not just on the worktop. If I did that at home my girlfriend would go mad!

Re: Pure White Background
thanks for the reply.
Yeah, I've got the manual. I understand about alpha channels.
So, if I have a studio set up with backdrop and a product - just lit with an HDRI, how would the alpha channel work in that situation? Are you saying I should render the product on it's own without any backdrop ...

Pure White Background
Hi there
I recently bought Octane and so far I'm loving it.
A quick question - I do a lot of product renders and my client always wants them on a pure white background. Is this possible with Octane?
Thank you
