Advice on the use of Medium>Absoption use

Hi. I am doing some visuals for a furniture piece that has an acrylic cover. I am heading in the right direction, but now I decided to try with Medium>Absoption to make the material more "believable"
This is without it:

This is with this parameters provided using Gemini according to the dimensions and thickness of the plastic:

Do you think the dark edge adds something or distracts the eyes from the detail. I am not sure if this is exactly how it should look in real life (dark edge) but it somehow feels a bit too much.
I am having enough Specular bounces: 32
But I would like not only to get a technical advice, but also your take on which one looks more "realistic" .

I really like the overall look.

I’m not entirely sure how reliable AI is for this, but the first result is definitely very appealing.

Hi Lino! Thanks for your feedback. Regarding AI, I use it almost as an Octane Manual. In that regards works, but when it comes to asking for help with the absoption, mmm I did not help me to reduce the dark line thing.
