Hi. I am doing some visuals for a furniture piece that has an acrylic cover. I am heading in the right direction, but now I decided to try with Medium>Absoption to make the material more "believable"
This is without it:
This is with this parameters provided using Gemini according to the dimensions and thickness of the plastic:
------------------------
Do you think the dark edge adds something or distracts the eyes from the detail. I am not sure if this is exactly how it should look in real life (dark edge) but it somehow feels a bit too much.
I am having enough Specular bounces: 32
But I would like not only to get a technical advice, but also your take on which one looks more "realistic" .
Thank you
Advice on the use of Medium>Absoption use

I really like the overall look.
I’m not entirely sure how reliable AI is for this, but the first result is definitely very appealing.
