Hi all !
I recently tried to send an LW / Octane scene to a renderfarm (render4you), and we couldn't get the scene to render correctly.
The scene was packaged from my computer and loaded ok at the renderfarm. When rendered from my computer (no network), the scene looked perfect.
The problem at the renderfarm was that objects in the scene randomly disappear, depending on the node the scene was sent to.
To make things clearer, each render node was given 5 frames to render, but almost every set of 5 frames had an error : a random object was missing (not always the same !).
Here is what the result looked like (MP4 file) :

We tried almost every setting for network rendering, disabled multi-thread scene extraction, set the update mode to full-scene reload, nothing worked and the guy from Render4you (very understanding) was as baffled as I was.
Sidenote : the renderfarm used command line to manage rendering
Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is ?
Network rendering (renderfarm) : objects randomly disappear

A shot in the dark, since I've never used render4you:
Do they render the C4D scene or do you export an orbx file? It's been a while, but for a time, there were problems with the Mac plugin where the orbx export was showing all kinds of issues, such as objects disappearing or missing animation channel data on random render nodes. We had to move the scene to a Windows box for ORBX export before uploading to RNDR, as I recall.
Ever since Beppe mentioned it some time ago, I find that exporting orbx through Render Settings>Octane Render>ORBX Exporter to be the most reliable. I never use Live Viewer>File>Export To... anymore.

It's weird that multithreaded scene extraction turning OFF didn't fix this because that's exactly what happens with that function ON (Juan never finished/fixed that bug).
Not sure what else to suggest, but full scene reload isn't solution or needed unless you have changing objects/sequences...
