Hi everyone!
I was searching for how to use a specific hdri environment from a single material only while maintaining another hdri for the rest of the scene and I found this video on youtube from the user "Milan M"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opRHoXP ... nel=MilanM
This is exactly the result I'm looking for but there's no clue on how to reach this result. Maybe the creator of the video is here and can share how he did it? That would be wonderful for me and I'm sure for many others as well. I searched on the forum but I can't find nothing related to this...
Per material Light/HDR in Octane LiveViewer

Just connect directly HDR image texture to specular input using spherical world texture projection. Set color space to non-color data or gamma=1.

You can easily disable HDRI environment from object tag using light linking "e".

In Redshift every material can have individual reflection environment, unfortunately in Octane you can only enable/disable one ENV but as I know there is no way to have two different. I tried to do something using RaySwitch node without success even using big sphere to simulate additional env.

Yeah, that's so sad. As you can see in the video I linked into the first post, it should be possible somehow...if only we could contact that "Milan M" guy....SSmolak wrote:In Redshift every material can have individual reflection environment, unfortunately in Octane you can only enable/disable one ENV but as I know there is no way to have two different. OK it's done ! I forgot that emission can have it's own light link id
