Greetings,
I am looking to bake the textures on a plant to a unwrapped UV map.
However the UV set tag on the camera does not seem to work, in fact having two UV's on a complex object crashes cinema all together.
Is it at all possible to bake one UV to another UV?

In short, you cannot use different UV sets with c4doctane, you need to export to Standalone, and do the job there.

Thanks for the response.
Is it a limit from within Cinema or a feature not yet developed for the plugin?
As for the standalone workaround.
Would you be able to point me in the direction of a good tutorial to get started on that method?
Thanks in advance and have a wonderful weekend!
Kind regards,

Hi Lipadoza,
you can prepare your Baking scene in c4doctane, and export it to Standalone via Render Settings/OctaneRender/Main/ORBX EXPORTER.
Then, in Standalone, just select the Camera node in Node Graph, and change the UV set in the Node Inspector: And render the baked results from Standalone:

Hey Beppe,
When exporting my scene to Octane Standalone as a .ocs or .orbx it only includes 1 UV set with the Cinema exporter.
If I export a FBX from Cinema and import that into Octane Standalone it does keep the UV sets.
Is this a bug or a limitation of the orbx/ocs exporter?
Cinema 4D R26.107
Octane plugin 2022.1-[R6]
Octane Standalone 2022.1
I have included sample scenes to show and reproduce the issue,
Where the objects in the 'Exported octane Scene with imported FBX' are set up as follows:
Baking ID 1 is set up as the FBX file.
2 is the other cube from the normal cinema .ocs export.
3 is the plane.
Baking ID 1 gives 2 possible UV options while baking ID 2 and 3 only give 1.
