Hello,
someone could help me to replicate this material from V-ray? I was using it and it's great but I can't replicate it in Octane.
Any help could be appreciated,
Roy

Hi,
you can start from a Specular material, with Absorption Medium node, and a Gaussian spectrum, or RGB spectrum node in the Absorption pin: ciao,

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that the glass panels are just planes and have no thickness. If you want glass to actually look like glass you need to extrude it.A.Lopez wrote:This one is where I need to use it!

Yep! I've found the problem...I was using a file where I was testing the suggestion of Paul Kinane to use ray epsilon between 0.075 and 0.1 inside Rhinoceros for the large model. This option was giving me the error. Here is the result with ray epsilon by default, 0.001.
Thank you all,

Great!
Note that you can also adjust the Density value, to absorb more or less light, depending on your needs.
