When using c4d noise as input for vertex displacement, things seem to work fine but duplicating the material and adding it to another object breaks the displacement of the whole scene.
Attaching the scene to the post.
"sp2" object using second c4d noise as vertex displacement input is disabled.
After enabling the object, the displacement on any object doesn't work.
Another question, Would it be possible to enable c4d nodes in octane c4d so we can control the size of the noise using octane projection nodes? something like how it has been implemented in standalone and blender?
I am using octane 2021.1.1 r2

Well yes, it works without the invert node but I am trying to make a foam shader so I need to use the same noise inverted as well.hazenkind wrote:It’s the invert Node. Without invert Node it works. Could you try this?

It seems like a core issue, we'll check it deeply.

I think you don't know mow many messages I'm checking while making a development! I may not see or find time to answer/check it. Sometimes I have to keep going to work without loosing my attention.hazenkind wrote:Aha good to hear. I wondered why you don’t reply to my bug report weeks ago.aoktar wrote:It seems like a core issue, we'll check it deeply.
But thank you anyway.

aoktar, no disrespect here. But i spend a lot of hours to find the bug on MY SIDE cause one of you guys claimed it´s not a bug.aoktar wrote:I think you don't know mow many messages I'm checking while making a development! Anyway thanks for your hard work on octane.

Thank you for reporting this issue. It will be fixed in the next Octane core release.
