Hello guys
Just curious, I rendered the attached clip (1280x720px) with DL mode with default parameters but with 1500 samples, there is also a glow enabled.
I see a lot of flickering with texture emission beside the noise (dependant from samples I think).
My question is, the only way to get rid of those flickering (and relative noise of course) is only to way up the samples? The final format will be FullHD.
thanks a lot
Peppe

Hi,
most of the noise is caused by recessed/complex emissive geometry, you need to crunch up the Kernel setting a lot to obtain a clean frame.
Have a look at this discussion on how to drastically reduce the noise in this condition:

thanks a lot for the reply Beppe, I'll check those thread for sure.
Regarding the geometry with applied texture emission material, those are only 3 cubes don't overlapping nor intersecting with any other geo around, that's my main doubt...
thanks

Sorry but what about the green and yellow emissive materials of the buildings?

ciao,
