I have a number of machines I am network rendering however I am not using the GPUs on the host/master machine when this is running.
Is there a way to add these GPUs too? I am not using 100% of my cards across the network and I would like to.
Regards
Network render but use Master GPUS too?

Hi,
Network Render cannot work without the "Master GPUs", they are the primary GPUs, the scene firstly is loaded on them, then on the Network GPUs.
Please use GPU-Z for monitoring the "Master GPUs" sensors while Network rendering, and in particular, GPU Load, Temperature, and Power Consumption-TDP.
ciao

Thanks Beppe,
My master machine has 3 GPUs installed and my slaves something similar. My issue is that when network rendering the GPUs in my main master machine seem to be fairly idle, looking at compute/cuda in task manager. Does a multiple GPU master machine have its cards ignored in this setup?

Hi,
you can check the GPU usage in Live View, and with GPU-Z Sensors tab, please share a screenshot like this: ciao,

Thanks, that let me see the issue.
I have 3 GTX1080s installed but one seems to be fried - it worked tested in isolation with fur mark but its not happy when its working alongside the other two cards. May have done one too many renders. Thanks anyway that shows me what is working and what is not.
Much appreciated

Great to hear you have found the culprit
Happy GPU rendering!
