Hi samsue,
have you any stretched bump or normal map on the wall?

Beware, Ray epsilon is often used as a workaround and not as an actual "fix" since, many times the scene as a wrong scale (usually too big) as it is frequent when the asset has been exported from a 3D DCC that has a different default scene-unit as an other 3D DCC or the renderer (Octane being by default in meter-unit) despite the scene-unit being, generally speaking, arbitrary.

It would be strongly recommended to double-check the scene-scale and ensuring the scene is at the right scale, relative to what is being rendered e.g an indoor should be roughly 2 meters /200 centimeters and not 200 meters.

elsksa

thank you for answering, I really appreciate it!

I could not find the cause of this problem for this specific scene... but I will take into consideration the things you said if it appears again, Thanks
