My Octane C4D plugin is applying denoise on the beauty even when everything is deactivated, both on camera (in which I'm using Camera Imager) and on kernel settings. Also, there's no Overwrite Kernel Settings enabled.
If I'm rendering an exr multipass along the png beauty sequence, the former renders without denoising (including all passes), as should, while the latter is applying denoise.
Some images below:
These are my settings for this shot:
I'm not new to Octane and I've made many projects enabling and disabling the denoise function. It's clear that there's something wrong, but I don't know what.
Also, I've tested this same scene on 2 completely different PCs, which I'm describing below:
PC 1:
Win 10
GTX 1080 ti
32gb ram
Studio Driver 461.92
Octane Plugin 2020.2-R3 and 2020.2.1-R2 (March 17th 2021 release)
Cinema 4D R23.008
PC 2:
Win 10
RTX 3090
32gb ram
Studio Driver 461.92
Octane Plugin 2020.2-R3
Cinema 4D R23.110
Thanks

Hey, Ahmet!
Thanks for your fast response. I can't share this specific file, but while I was preparing a different scene to reproduce this case, I noticed something really strange.
The option "Use denoised beauty pass", which has always been present in the Main Octane tab, but had disappeared for sRGB in these versions that I prior mentioned, simply came back. That certainly solves the mystery.
Some images illustrating:
I've even found this Facebook thread while browsing for a solution some weeks ago. Now I'm wondering, did you update anything on your end?

Send what you have please!lamloops wrote:I'm having the same exact problem. Denoise is also screwing up all my materials in the newest version 2020.2.3, no density in specular mats, no reflections, emission problems, lights super blown out..
