I couldnt find any information on this, any idea how we can achieve this ripple animation effect with Octane? I could able to do ripple look on a still image but I am trying to do the animation like this when the drops fall down on a surface.

You would most likely want to do this effect with c4d features and then merely apply octane materials and lights.

Don't look for octane tutorials on this. Follow c4d tutorials. Octane for the rendering of final look.

Thank you Iceman9 for the reply. I actually tried but ripple effect didn't show up on octane unfortunately, he uses shader for that effect and I guess that shader effect don't show up on Octane

Did you try using the baking node in your material network? Add it after the ripple effect and see if that helps.

Thanks @jayroth2020 for the reply , i just tried it, it didint work , but not sure if I am doing right, I converted the material and then add the bake texture, I attached 2 images, one of them after i converted to octane material , the other one after i add bake texture node. Is this look right?

Bake as HDR, not LDR:

@lanklaf yes i did that for a still image but I am trying to do for an animation, and not just one ripple in the middle, I used emitter like that in that video, drops are falling down and each time they fall down I would like to have the ripples in an animation
