I have seen this tip a few times...

In Light Tag, activate "use primitives" parameter and use AI lights in kernel

What is "use primitives"? I cant find it in the documentation. By the way, Cinema's docs are at 2019.1. Is there a more up to date version somewhere?

thanks

We are getting ready to release the next documentation update for Cinema. In the meantime, the "Use Primitives" option is used in combination with the AI Light option found in the Settings and activates the Spectron feature. Spectron resolves light more quickly and with less noise. It is currently limited to plane and spherical light shapes, which you set in the Details panel of the Octane area light.
