Hi Paul,

could you please support dds format as a texture map? It could make a differnce (hoping) in terms of speed and memory. My 8GB 1080 strugles with just a house with some serius grennery. Thank you!!

This is something that OTOY would need to build into the Octane engine, so you could submit it to them as a feature request.

However if you are running out of VRAM, you can turn on OutOfCore and store the texturemaps in CPU RAM.

Out of Core would be a good start indeed.

I think standalone already supports dds. I think even Archicad plugin does already. Once It asked for a missing texture and when I loaded a dds instead, it worked flawlessly.

I suggest confirming in Octane Standalone that that load and render correctly for you, and if this is the case I can look at adding them to the ArchiCAD plugin.
