Hi
I thought I'd try and emulate a Bob Ross scene like CG Geek in Blender - https://youtu.be/-lvx3NB5icE
But I ran into an issue with Volumes.
Can anyone shed some light on why I can't get volumes rendered using the Picture Viewer?
It either crashes with an out of memory error or renders for 5-6mins and produces a black image.

According to the info stats on the Live Viewer it's not running out of memory or using out-of-core memory.

I've tried with both 'Emulate old volume behavior' on and off - no difference.

It renders fine with the Volumes turned off.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Only reason for me, using "send all data" option in render settings. It's deprecated and doesn't support several objects.

Turns out I had some dodgy settings in the Volumes.
Namely, some unconnected RGB nodes and an Octane Perlin noise.

All rendering fine now.
