Hey guys,
I'm currently trying to export an octane scene from C4D to Standalone/ocs to render it with deadline.
However when I'm opening my exported scene inside the Standalone client the resolution differs from the settings I setup in C4D in some random off-aspect ratio way.
When exporting it from c4d there are no exporting options so I'm not sure how to fix that.
I would rather not have to go in each and every file via standalone to change the resolution before sending it to the rende rfarm if that makes sense.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I use orbx eports from C4D in the standalone from time to time and I've found what's important for the resolution to carry over is that the LV screen aspect is locked. Otherwise, it seemed to take the resolution from however large my LV window was stretched. At least that's what I believe was doing it.
brilliant, that works!BCres wrote:I use orbx eports from C4D in the standalone from time to time and I've found what's important for the resolution to carry over is that the LV screen aspect is locked. That's on odd one I must have missed out of my habit of keeping the LV locked. I think it's worth reporting as a bug to Ahmet.BCres wrote:I use orbx eports from C4D in the standalone from time to time and I've found what's important for the resolution to carry over is that the LV screen aspect is locked. Should have mentioned I'm using 4.05-R7 I guess.aoktar wrote:I think It's working as expected. See image
I don't even get an export dialog like in your screenshot.

You need to Save as Animated package .orbx (alembic) to see the export settings dialog.

This part is unchanged since long time, same for most of old builds.jopfe wrote:Should have mentioned I'm using 4.05-R7 I guess.aoktar wrote:I think It's working as expected. See image
