How do I output 16 bit images from a render? In the Maya render Globals, I select PNG, 16bit but every time I sitll get an 8 bit output. Same thing happens if I use Tiff 16 bit or any other format. I thought that now Octane respected Maya's image output selection, whereas in much older versions it didn't? Either way, I can't figure it out so help is much appreciated--Thanks!

I'm in Maya 2018.5 and Plugin V 4.something (I have no clue how to find my plugin version)

Hello? Any help on this basic question. I'm not clear if i'm doing it wrong or if it's broken

awesome support otoy. Top notch!

how about I make this easier, since typing a response is too time consuming for you... Just type 1or 2 in a response:

1= 16 bit output of Maya is broken
2= There is something specific/not straight forward that needs to be done to get a 16 bit image output.

I'm sorry itsallgoode9, I didn't notice your report in this section of the forum, just didn't expect bug-reports here. I'm checking it now...

thanks for looking into it Jimstar. I didn't know this would've been classified as a bug (as I didn't yet know if I was just doing something wrong and the feature worked. feel free to the thread if it belongs there.
