Hi,

I'm trying to animate an Octane Scatter object via an image sequence plugged into the shader. I go to a particular frame and hit calculate and it displays as it should but when i render it just stays on the first frame. I've tried Tiff's and PNG's - no dice.

Anyone know why it's not working for me?

Cheers,
Andy

Yes I know why it's happening! It's lack of update detection for anim textures.

Ace thanks Aoktar. Is there a way to get it to work?

Any kind of keying in scatter objects will trigger the updates.

Thanks Aoktar, that did it. Keyframed every frame and it started updating as expected.

No need to keyframe at every frames. Just give start/end keys to somethings
