Octane for Softimage 3.00 RC3 Demo/Full [Current]

The focus of this update is a better ICE integration.

FIXED:
  • The gradient node wasn´t deleted if a material was deleted.
  • PointCloud kinematics node wasn´t deleted if a regular Pointcloud contains no data.
ADDED:
  • Added support for particle motionblur, deformed motion blur from the mesh property must be set to true.
  • Added support for strand motionblur, deformed motion blur from the mesh property must be set to true.
  • Pointcloud possibility to mix internal shapes with external instance shapes.
  • Pointcloud internal shapes can have an object layer, instance shapes will use the instance object layer.
  • Pointclouds can be used as instance shapes.
  • Pointclouds with animated kinematics can be rendered with motion blur.
  • Parts of the strand generation will be generated in multithreaded if the count of strands is greater than 10000.
CHANGED:
  • Redesigned PointCloud class.
DOWNLOADS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  • This plugin can be installed with the usual way. Unzip the downloaded OctaneV3.zip, drag and drop the xsiaddon in the Softimage window.
    You can also use the File -> Addon -> Install menu.
KNOWN ISSUES
  • None.

Hi face, I downloaded the demo but It seems the hair does not work, does the hair render with this version of octane for softimage?

Strands will work, hair aren´t included.
But i can take a look how tricky it is to include.

Nice!! A mini feature wish, just for tidyness: Other renderes have a submenu in get->material, it would be nice if Octane had it too (even though it deserves the extra space :D )
