I may be early to the party trying to use R19 and 'C4D-V3.07-Test3a-win' build together, but I am not able to get Octane to write frames to disk.
The live viewer works, but nothing gets output.
Using the C4D save dialogue works, but not using the 'Render Passes' panel...
C4D R19.024
4x Titan X Pascal
Nvidia Driver: 382.05
Thanks,
Jason

Thank you for the reply, but something is amiss.
I installed 'Octane-for-C4D-V3.07-Test6a-win' in R19, but still had no luck getting a frame to write to disk using Octane.
So, I deleted prefs and removed all other plugins and still no output. I have uninstalled R19 and reinstalled it and still cannot get a frame to write out.
Confused why I am having problems. R18 works as expected.

Check write privileges to location. Also try another path on hdd not on desktop place.

Thanks for the reply, Aoktar.
Privileges are working fine.
Tried writing to my work drive (D:) and still no output.
Running 'OctaneRender_3_07_test6_win' standalone and plugin version
R19 - 19.024
Nvidia driver 382.05
I have attached a saved log out of Octane when trying to render, though I see it does not display output information (path, etc.).
Please let me know if/how I can help solve this.
Thanks,
Jason

Just a single frame.
I originally tried to render a 300 frame sequence of a more complex scene and nothing was output to file when I checked the render, which is what first alerted me to the problem.
These single frame tests I am doing are as basic as it gets, just a simple cube.
I have double checked my settings and installations, but I am stumped as to why I can't get a frame out.

could you please send an example scene? Posting like that doesn't give any clues.Flope wrote:Same things over here

We have the same issue with R19 and 3.07 TEST 3 (3070002)
Images render, but are not written to any - and I mean any - disk.
Only workaround seems to be enabling the standard C4D save dialogue.
Was there an API change in R19 maybe?
Best regards,
Paul
