Since you have a new build out, i though I would test this again.
I've discovered where the bug is with the metalness/gloss texure. You must set the metalness slider to 1 BEFORE you assign a texture to the metalness slot. Otherwise, it seems that the proper node network doesn't get built. Probably something you want to fix. I am available on skype: adamnerva if you need a demonstration of this. I will further test the materials.

The issue has been fixed.
