Hello,

I checked the forums and help.otoy but couldn't really find an answer.

I'm using Octane on two computers one for editing the scenes other one is a render node. When I finish editing a scene, deactivate my license from settings and reactive on render node. Today when I tried to quit I got this message
Image
I went to my account on the site and deactivated from licenses, then activate on my render node. After rendering I wanted to deactivate on the node and reactivate on my editing PC and here I get this message

I updated my Standalone and the Plugin but on both computers I get these same messages separately, If you could help I'd appreciate it.

Thank you

Hi Noctivagant,
I can confirm that there is an issue with the manual deactivation.
Please, close all the application, and check in Task manager if there is not another process active that is blocking the deactivation.
In theory, v3.06.2 should be correctly deactivated on exit.

Hi,
in theory, v3.06.2 should deactivate on exit, at least here is working as expected, I cannot manually deactivate, but the licenses are correctly deactivated on exit.
Did you check at you OctaneLive page if they are still active or not?

Yes I did and eventually I've used online Unlock to free the licence.
I did full reset on both computers before, that didn't work either.

I'm rendering a job at the moment, will do some more tests tomorrow.

Thanks

Thanks mojave, the issue has been successfully solved, and now the manual deactivation works as expected.
Please, always prefer the manual deactivation instead of the web deactivation, that must to be used only if the manual deactivation is not possible.
Happy Rendering,
