Hi! This is a test build of the OctaneRender™ 3.0 for LightWave™ plugin version 3.06.0, available for Lightwave 10.1, 11.6 and 2015.3 Windows x64 and OSX.

* NEW PLUGIN FEATURES:

- Adaptive sampling threshold, exposure and min samples input pins added to the directLight and pathTracer kernel nodes.
- New slider in the Octane light to set the disk light shape edges from 3 to 64.
- TFD API updated to use the new 1422 TFD build in Windows.

* PLUGIN BUGS FIXED:
- Fixed a critical bug in the Displacement node internal data functions that crash LightWave while building the node GUI.
- Adapt. Noise Threshold default value set to 2%

* NEW OCTANE FEATURES:
- Added a general shadow pass, which shows all direct light shadows that calculated on the first bounce.
- Merged the greyscale, spectrum and normal texture evaluation into one function.
- Triplanar map textures can now be nested.

* OCTANE BUGS FIXED:
- Fixed crash in PMC when the maximum samples have been reached.
- Fixed a deadlock when rendering is stopped while tone mapping is in progress.
- Fixed issue that rendering won't restart if you stopped rendering during deep pixel binning.
- Fixed broken falloff texture in the texture environment.
- Fixed missing updates of the texture environment when importance sampling is enabled.
- Fixed info passes / info channel kernel on Fermi GPUs.

One of my nodes won't authenticate anymore. Where is auth data located so I can delete it ?

The authentication data is not stored by the plugin in any file currently. Have you tried to reset your node?

I had to start the standalone on that node and input credentials there. After this the node started working again.

Thanks for the displacement fix.

Hi,

I suppose that the next step will be the final build of Octane 3.06 to later start with the 3.1 builds. And meanwhile I'll try to update the documentation with all the 3.0 features missing.
