Hello Juanjo,
i still have the same issue with Turbulence FD
with the new build (3.06).
TFD is the 1419, and the message is still the same:
TDF mismatch client = 3 server = 0
Any idea of what's happening?
I have a project coming with intense smoke work, it would be great if this could work
Thanks a lot
Olivier

Thanks Juanjo,
any idea of what's going on?
Normaly it should work with the 1419 right?
Is it the learning edition that causes problems?
Do you think this new release will come soon?
That's a lot of questions, sorry
Thanks a lot Juanjo,

Are you using the TFD learning edition? I'm not sure if this version can work with the Octane plugins.
Anyway I'll check if there is any problem with the current build. I want to release the next plugin build tomorrow or this weekend.
Thanks,
-Juanjo

Ok. I've updated the plugin with the new 1422 TFD build and all seems to work fine, so the next build will work for sure.
Anyway, are you sure that you have the right TFD plugin version (the 1419 one, that is the API used by the 3.06.0.0 plugin build) selected in the plugin options panel?
Thanks,
-Juanjo

Thanks Juanjo,
yes i'm using the learning edition,
i wanted to be sure it worked fine before
buying a licence, maybe the problem comes from this LE version.
Anyway thanks a lot, i'm going to switch to the full version,
and try it as soon as you release the next Octane build.

Hello Juanjo,
just a quick update to confirm that it was the LE edition
that causes the issue.
I just switched to the full version and everything is working fine
(Octane 3.06 build + TFD 1419)
I must say i'm really impressed by the render quality,
after a bit of tweaking of density/absorption, it's really
a pleasure to work with it...
There's not that much of examples on the web of
the trio Lightwave/TFD and octane, it's a shame because it should be...
I'll try to post some renders once my workload leaves me a bit of time
Anyway thanks again for the great work
