Hi there, I've been encountering successive crashes with Octane when I am trying to render an image of 16000x16000px in 350 dpi (requested by client).
The preview while rendering split the image into mosaic and finally (if no crash) the image is split in 2 as in attachment . The C4D scene is simple and local (hosted on computer). We 've tested in low poly and without any textures, still crahsing or weird results as in image below.
Any idea, similar experience or any known limitation I am not aware of to get the right image in the requested format/size/def?
Quite important and urgent, your help would be more than appreciated.
Thanks
Are you sure that you're not out-of-physical RAM? Btw i see in your logs that you didn't deleted another octane plugin versions.

Hi Aoktar
Actually I first tested with Octane 3.05.3 version, and as it was not working, I down graded to 3.04.5 (which did not work better).
and btw I tested to render by region, and same results, the image is split and displaced.
Regarding RAM, I have 64Go physical RAM and from what I see in log report, total used RAM:9.046Gb.
Any advice?

I can easily render scenes at 16k square. So it should work on you also. Can you send your scene for testing? It's a requirement in bugreports list when that's possible.zamak wrote:Hi Aoktar

Btw you overlooked my message i think. There should be another versions of plugin. Can you check c4doctane folder content?

Si I've reinstalled the latest version 3.06 of Octane.
But same issue : split screen and crash of C4D, see and the corresponding bug report .
The scene is now available - for confidentiality disclosure, I removed the textures (but I've also made the test without textures before posting - so i am assuming that there are no issue with them).
So now I am completely up-to-date, same issue for this size of picture.
Thanks for your follow-up and support

Yes i get same errors. It seems related with HDRLS usage. Can you send a render to LV then call "Edit In Standalone" command? Worth to try a render in Standalone directly.
