Hi guys!
I'm sruggling with (probably fairly simple) setup.

Arrows travel from top to bottom controlled with a spline wrap. In the top I'd like them to have material X and in the bottom - material Y.
I'd like to control it with a gradient (or linear fallof) sticked somewhere to space.

I tried many ways, without any luck.
Should I use flat texture with gradient on "ARROW" object and use it to control MixOctane texture? (how?)
Or should I use mograph for this?

Do you have any solution in mind?

Hi slepy8,
here is a possible solution using the Check shader in World coordinate mode:

Beppe, you're probably my hero! :)
I'll check it straight away when I get to the office tomorrow.

Cheers!

As far as I needed to control materials change instead of just color change, I just used this check shader with world position as a controler for mix material :)
Works like a charm!

Thanks Beppe. I owe you a beer! ;)
