Install errors TWO - again. { Where is Octane 3 - 2 }

Hey all,

after taking a long break, I decided to install Poser / Octane once again. NOPE!
Same exact errors as before.

Poser and Octane were completely off my system. { C drive}

I Installed TO NEW EXTERNAL HARDDRIVE. Poser 2014 installed
flawlessly. Installed service pack 3.

Then Installed OCTANE TO EXACT FOLDER where poser .exe is.

NO . no go.

1. Computer immediately crashed when I tried to open poser. { same exact Error as before - Nvidia
_ errors--- computer completely hung and crashed requiring reboot. }

Poser 2014 Pro

Card: GTX 880m Driver: 375.70

I will uninstall and try OCTANE 2 now!

Ok, installed Octane 2. getting the exact same error., and immediate crash / hang of computer.


ERROR:

" The Nvidia Geforce GTX 880M is not removable and cannot be ejected or unplugged ".



HUH?

What about REMOVING the Nvidia driver - and reverting to an OLD one?

is that even possible?

okay deleted nvidia driver and reverted to old one 331 that came with computer.


1. Doesnt crash on Poser start up.

2. Octane not in Poser menus.

3 Getting this error attached; { apparently pointing to a folder NO LONGER even on the computer }

Note Add:

Error above pointing to folder NEVER on the computer. I don't have Poser 11.

So Octane 3 must have created that error folder, correct? Why?

Hi. This looks more like a driver problems than Octane or Poser.

Does Octane Standalone (the latest 3.05 version) work on your PC?

well I reverted to old driver 331, now. So for sure wouldn't work right?

No, Octane needs a later version of the Nvidia driver than 331. Pls install the latest and see of Octane Standalone works.
