Im have a bit of an issue with the mat placement and would love to know how to fix it as I've tried and failed
to many times to count. I'm using 3ds max and would like to go into more bolder projects but the mat or UV??? think is putting me off. Please help as iv looked for months and found nada that helps

Obviously the UV map is broken. As I don't know anything about 3ds max, I have moved the thread to the 3ds max plugin forum. If someone can help you, then either the plugin dev or one of the 3ds max users.

Can you show a picture of your Max viewport, that would help.
It almost looks as if there is some extreme tiling happening...
Try turning it down in the texture options on the node in Octane.
