Hi Erges.

double check Your exporter settings as once You export in .obj there is scale slider that might mess up Your scale.

& then tweak Ray Epsilon value that You can find under Kernel settings =) this should solve Your problem.

let me know how that goes ;)

HI Tom,
Thanks for your advice. In the exporter scale is always 1.0 , I tried all other switches there....
Yes, Ray epsilonon works when I push this all way up! is it ok if I leave it almost on 1
I get this effect not so often, but now I work on a big scale project (your competition VR project, BTW:) , and get stuck in this f...g moire effect. The scene is very big I've never worked on a such a scale project before (I have a lake 3-4km).
I noticed, when I set scale in Octane in meters and MAX in CM , and when import to Octane I change from M to CM on obj node only, this moire is gone almost, but if I set CM in Octane before import it doesn't work.... Very strange. I tottaly confused, What scale units in Max and Octane I should set to have a right workflow ?

Base unit for Octane is always meters - so if possible use maters to meters exporting. BTW if you use max plugin try to export your scene to orbx and then open any obj under the standalone. You should see exactly the same rendered image - both in octane for max as well as in the standalone.

Hi erge,
Octane uses a metric system.
You should set the correct measurement units in 3ds Max before exporting to standalone.
Incorrect scale unit produces artifacts such as in your screenshot, with emitters, sun and materials.
Units of measurement should be meters, 3dsmax display unit scales counts for nothing.
