As you can see on attached file, OctaneVolume don´t recognize the Phoenix Object. I´m using phoenix 2.2, Octane v3.02 - 4.1 on Max 2016

In fact it don´t even appear on Modifier list, so I putted it on the buttons to see whats happen.

Using Octane 3.02 - 4.0 it recognizes the object but seems to be something "experimental" as it doesn´t work on the final render.

3.02 - 4.0 does not have PhoenixFD support, please take a look at the plugin's changelog. It is implemented starting from 4.1.
Could you give me this scene so I could check out the reason of this issue?

Yes I was following that. The attached image is a screenshot on 3.02 - 4.1

I didn´t save the scene but its easy to recreate... its just a Cylinder inside the Phoenix object linked on a Phoenix source. Nothing else.

But even just creating a Phoenix Object without any simulation or anything in the scene it doesn´t recognize it as a phoenix object aswell.

.... Ow... thanks a lot for the support.

Maybe is something wrong with my Phoenix install. Tomorrow I´ll reinstall it and give you some feedback.

Thanks a lot

No worries.
But there is still a chance that there is something wrong with the plugin - 'cause it's only the first test version with the PhoenixFD support.
So, if you'll still get this issue - just post here the scene where it happens on your machine... I'll check this on my site...

Hey Jim, I could make it work...

in fact there was 2 things happening.

1 - I think I was using some newer version of Phoenix, probably some nightly build. Now I tried with a 2.2 demo version and it works.

2 - The OctaneVolume (WSM) still not showing on modifiers list, but I got why. I usually set my modifiers to: "SHOW ALL SETS IN LIST".

If I deactivate the: "SHOW ALL SETS IN LIST" I can find the modifier there, together with the other WSMs.

I´ll make some tests and let you know if I find some bug here.
Thanks again

Just to reiterate from an earlier post - further communications with the developers of Phoenix FD will go a long way towards resolving compatibility issues with the 2.25 release. Thank you for your patience :)
