hey guys,
when im opening a scene in c4d i worked on a few weeks ago, it instantly crashes. Im still using 2.xx and dont want to upgrad today, since i simply need to rerender a sequence quickly... and i can't. I have no idea what the problem might be, new scenes and other scenes work normally so far.
Bugreport attached!

Look like it's on openmp rendering of C4D shaders. How much cpu cores are activated in settings?

You should use Octane's remove unused materials. It should be safer to remove mix mats. Here in bugreport i can see that happens on vcomp_fork + sla.cdl64. This about openmp(multicore) and sla.c4d is about layer shaders.philmaron wrote:wow thanks a lot. was one, deactivated it. there are some unused c4d materials in the scene as reference but im sure none actually used. can you give me a hint on how to read that from the log?

Thanks alot
Ill defenitely check that out.
I found out something... in the Octane live viewer, it usually crashes with c4d shaders if multicore is activated. But when rendering normally out via picture viewer, it crashes when using only one core. Isnt that weird?
