Thanks for the video Paul. I have managed to get this far. I guess 2 main questions remain. Do I always use a float input for everything? And how do I create a filename node? I've seen your are doing this, but I have not figured it out. Is that created simply by dragging an image from the clips viewer into the graph? Thanks!
Edit. OK, so yeah, dragging an image from the clips browser creates the filename node. Cool. So all that remains is the question about whether I should use float for all assembly inputs. Thanks.

Yes, all Octane node connections in the Schematic are "float" types.So all that remains is the question about whether I should use float for all assembly inputs.
